And by copes I mean stuff like videogames, movies, series, etc. Those things are the ones that I've realized give me joy and a reason to live for.

Nowadays being able to get the "dream life" of the past is very unlikely for the average person, so if I were to just focus on that I'd probably end up killing myself. I don't want to pursue that life anymore, it's just not realistic for me

By that I don't mean I won't try to get surgery, but I mean that I won't have unrealistic desires I probably won't ever achieve. I may be better off by just focusing on those copes that make me happy
