All Suggestions threads should be permitted for posting, whether mods agree with them or not. At the very least, mods should just hide rather than outright delete Suggestions threads they reject (and thread starters should receive alerts about it).

Whenever I make a thread in Suggestions, I save a backup of its text into a notes app in case mods decide to nuke my essay to a 404 page. It’s sad we’ve come to this.

Because it’s a suggestion that’s never going to happen, in general we only delete/reject suggestions that are a. very shitty suggestions or b. not realistic or viable
