The older I get the faster time passes by. Some days I am afraid that life will pass me by and all I'll have done is be a whining moping sad fuck. I can't get a girl, thats true. But there are other things that make me happy. For example, I love water sports when I go visit beaches. I love spending time with my friends whenever we get a chance. I like going to the gym. Maybe its not as much as being in love. But its still better than being sad all the time. I already regret being a sad fuck, rotting when I was in college. I could have broken rules and had fun. I could have tried mushrooms. Younger than 40 for sure. But now things have a time limit. You must realise, youth feels eternal because in some respect you are not truly independent. Your parents have your back. At mid 20s everything changes. You cant put off things, you have to plan for them. Every fun thing has a cost and needs to be accounted for. For example, I want trek in Uttarakhand, but that will take me 5 years of savings. So I will get that trek in my 30s. Same goes for things I want in my 30s. I'll get those in my 40s. Suddenly life doesnt feel that long does it ?
