If you struggle getting the food down / economically i wouldn't suggest eating these filling foods especially since there are better alternatives. peanut butter (without a billion additives) is a decently healthy very cheap and very calorie dense food i would recommend. Protein in general burns calories just by eating it and it fills you up more, a lot of carbs and fats is the easy and cheap way to gain weight, went from ~130 to 200lbs (6'1) abusing peanuts and appetite stimulationI eat 1 can of tuna/day , its like 25g of proteins. I eat that + 4 eggs in the morning
