Almost a year of minoxidil on eyebrows

I applied once a day with a qtip for a few months, then moved on to applying it twice a day.

My UEE was worse back then I swear to God

I didn't really see results until the 2nd or 3rd month of use

In bright light they still look bad because of the vellus hairs which reflect the light. You cant really see them in those photos.


As for my skin, the flash may make it look bad, but trust me when I say its the best its been in years. Got my health mostly under control which seemed to help a lot, and my acne is fixed.

Im going the continue minox for another year or so if I have to, I want to make sure vellus hairs become terminal, and I could still use some density because of how bad they look in specific lighting.


My father came over after a while and mentioned they looked a lot thicker, so that's a bit of extra confirmation.

Yea I often got a lot of dead skin on them, but moisturizing frequently should solve the problem.
The alcohol in it will dry out your skin.

i can apply minox only the edge of my eyebrow or i get so dry skin that my eyebrow hairs will fall out

I highly doubt a qtip's worth of minoxidil once or twice a day would do that. But i'm too lazy to even read the studies right now, so if your worried, just do or don't.

Nah that’s mostly cope too . It’s not to a degree which there are actual physical changes within the body . Also in that creatine study they overdosed the people aswell . They gave them 5 times the recommended daily dose of creatine lol .

Honestly nothing much, I just moisturize the area of application often.


I just live with the scaled itchy scalp, I dont do much to it if thats what you mean.

What's terminal hair bro?

A terminal hair is just the usual thick dark hair. Vellus hairs are the thin, white little hairs you have everywhere. Minoxidil will stimulate the hair follicle and vellus hairs will shed and terminal hairs will begin to grow, but this can take many months, or even over a year or so. The terminal hairs should stay forever.

(Don't quote me on this, I don't really know the specifics, but im fairly sure thats how it works...)

Well give it about 4 hours before moisturizing. Let the minox dry out and be absorbed before putting anything else on.
