20M, noticing some extra hairs shedding. Most (at least like 95% of them) have white bulbs at the end (which indicates telogen efflevium). Need a second opinion on whether there is androgenic alopecia involved or not.

Do not touch minox.

Hop on Dut at least. It will thicken those miniaturised hairs you haves at the front. You haven’t fully lost any hair (slick bald), so will thicken up and un minaturise without any growth stimulants.

pfs might be rare but libido decrease is very common. Decrease libido = worse erections.

Hair is life tho
Yeah. But I heard erection quality and libido can be maintained as long as you stay healthy and do high T activities like weightlifting idk

Thank you. Two things

1.) can I hop on finasteride instead? It seems more logical to do fin before dut.

2.) so just to be clear. You see signs of balding? How can I know if it’s TE or AGA?

why do you recommend dut first as opposed to fin first?

I don’t see a reason to use Fin when Dut exists. Why test out a less effective treatment to see if it’s just enough to hold on to your hair when you can just use the most effective treatment and be sure? The chance of sides is the same (practically none). Many end up switching from Fin to Dut down the line anyway since Fin becomes ineffective.

At 20 you should be on. There is absolutely no reason to postpone. TE typically your whole head including the sides and back will be thin.

White bulbs indicate TE as you said, unless you are ripping them out.

Look for hair fall with hairs <4cm that look on the thin side.

The hairs on your temple do seem to be miniaturised just from a look

I thought most people stay on fin for a while. It doesn’t become ineffective. Also the sides of dutasterife are worse I thought because it suppresses more dht

Some other guy said white bulbs can also be dht related too, not just TE. But idk what’s happening man.

It could just be a maturing hairline but high chance the reaper is doing his job and you should try RU58841 + Fin or Dut

There are signs but wait until its noticeable and then do something about it

It’s not noticeable?

How long do you think I’d have to wait?

I’m going overseas next summer, not tryna have a bald ahh head by then. Need my long locs

Not unless youre trying to see it but I think you should grow your hair out and get a hairstyle that covers it until its bad
Yeah I’m eating well and reducing stress just in case it’s telogen efflevium. I’m growing my hair out and in 3 months or less imma hop on ru58841 and add oral fin. I’m not gonna wait till it gets bad. We are looksmaxxers, we prevent hair loss.

It's thinning. You'll need to take something to prevent it from thinning.
Check your stress and diet, ensure you're taking essential micronutrients and use a hair growth serum that has caffeine and biotin, or use minoxidil.
If that doesn't work after a month, hop on Finasteride, RU58841 or Dutasteride.

Does ru really work ? It ain’t even fda approved

I'm not too sure tbh but I hear it being reported as a solution
This sucks. I noticed this shit suddenly. When I saw white bulbs at the tip of all the hairs that fell out, I assumed it’s TE. But some other guy said Androgenic Alopecia (DHT) can have white bulbs at the end of the fallen hair too.

You're going to have to do more research if you want to know the real cause, pal.
Track micronutrient intake, take testosterone and cortisol tests, and go from there.

A little shed with white bulbs is fine. But hairs usually fall out in their exogen phase not telogen phase.

If it’s happening a lot I would worry, otherwise you’re in the miniaturisation boat

It’s happening a lot but it’s reduced nowadays. Idc about TE as that fixes itself.

But the hairline does look thin, wouldn’t you agree?

I do see some mini hairs falling from that area too (temple) sometimes
