Am I getting forward growth?

I know this is a very grey post and I don't know know much at all so don't pls flame me (I won't lie I don't know much looksmaxing things yet)
Anyway, I got rubberbandless braces (Damon/ self-ligating), and i think it's giving me forward growth? I know it sounds like cope or I may just be growing at the same time, but my mandible is more up and my nose bump which was very noticeable is almost gone, my nose is like also lifting up at the front, which is so nice because I thought I was gonna have to get rhino-plasty, 2 of my mates mentioned that my nose looks better, and I like can see my mandible rising up, my orthodontist put glue on two of my back teeth and it made me feel like my jaw was permanently open, but now it just feels like it closes better. I don't really know what's happening, but I'm liking the results, if anyone that knows can let me know I'd really appreciate it, and if they have any suggestions on what I should ask my ortho to keep this going or just good forward growth tips in general that'd be great. (I'm 17 btw)

Braces can’t give you forward growth because they can only move the jaws relative to each others. So if your mandible is recessed and your maxilla isn’t braces can make your mandible less recessed but they will slightly recess the maxilla. You would have to give some details on your treatment in order for me to evaluate your case.

What braces definitely can and will do though is give you a better profile by rotating your teeth inwards or outwards.
