Lately I have come to believe that my mother doesn’t love me and only loves the idea of herself as a mother and the role I play in her story.
She does take care of me yes, even at my old age, and isn’t physically abusive, is willing to still buy me some things I want within reason, has let me NEET in the past etc.
However:
-She raised me vegetarian and was vegetarian during her pregnancy
-She circumcised me
-She had me with a black guy who is no longer in the picture
-She has aggressively bluepilled me my whole life with ideas ranging from a nice liberal view of christianity to “soft” feminism
-She completely ignores my emotions and depression given my state. She has explicitly told me she “feels no empathy” for my “whining”
-She still lies to me and tells me that what women want is a “soul connection”
-She has also told me that if I were to date an 18 year old she would sabotage my relationship and would be fine with me dating a single mother with tattoos
Also, there have been moments when her facade of love has been completely ripped away. I recall an instance where I, as an angsty 12 year old, told her that the food she made “sucked”. Following that, she began punching me and slapping me like crazy, it was an immediate explosion of rage. I pushed her off of me, then she began screaming at the top of her lung and said things berating me for “putting my hands on a woman” and “thinking I’m big”. She then called the cops on me and had the police put me in their car for around 2 hours. Note that I did not hit her or anything, I merely pushed her off because she was attacking me.
