I am going to the gym to build an athletic body, the one that tells people "I am healthy and fit", not "I lift weights".

Bulking leaves the face in a suboptimal state. You are spending months, sometimes years, with a bloated face just to build muscles when what truly matters is the face.

Face is everything. Yes, height is very important, especially in the West, and physique makes you compete with men within your category, but nothing beats face.

You don't want to spend too much time with a bloated face. It matters because time is a finite resource, and your face will look worse when you're older.

Being athletic is not useless. Do it for you and for your health. foids don't fuck guys just because they have an athletic body, they care about guys' bodies but not in the same way men care about women's bodies

Yeah I was looking at his physique it’s still atleast top 3% and far better than what a average person can ever realistically hope of dreaming of,the point is people always claim to just want to look like Brad Pitt in fight club and not like Ronnie coleman as if there is a slight chance of either of those things

Maingaining - The process of building muscle mass and losing body fat while eating at calorie maintenance in conjunction with resistance training - is a very slow process compared to doing the traditional bulk and cut cycles.

I have been bulking all the way up from 126.4 lbs (@ 5'6") since Sept 29th. And weighed in at 145.6 lbs on Saturday morning before a date. 145 lbs yesterday morning. And 146.2 lbs this morning. And it was only until my date Saturday night where I looked at my face in a selfie I took with her and thought, "gee my face does look more bloated now." And I take 5 grams of creatine monohydrate daily too.

I can still see my abs. I'm just not as defined as when I was a 133 lbs cadaver. lmfao. I think it wouldn't be very productive of me to start a cut just yet. I really don't have that much muscle mass on my frame just yet. And my strength is really not that great. I'm 37 going on 38.

My flat bench is only 110 lbs (though 9 reps x 3 sets, not 1 rep max). My incline bench is 75 lbs 34 reps across 3 sets (10-12 reps per set). My overhead press is 70 lbs (I think 12 reps x 3 sets). My squat is 215 lbs 12 reps x 3 sets. I blacked out last Monday attempting to squat 220 lbs with no warm up and the barbell fell on my fucking back of head/neck while I was falling mid-air. And fell on my ass hard. My neck is healed thankfully. My back of my head and ass is mostly healed. My lower back is still kinda sore from doing dumb bell squats on Friday. Might be related to the injury from Monday. My deadlift is like 165 maybe (30 reps over 3 sets. 9-12 reps per set) and my grip is not that good. I have to re-adjust mid-set. Sometimes multiple times. I've been doing forearm barbell curls to help build my grip strength and forearms. 60 lbs 28 reps over 3 sets (8-12 reps per set). My bent over row is 155 lbs 34 reps over 3 sets. 10-12 reps per set. And my form with rows is suspect at 155. I worked my way up to 200 lbs on the ab crunch machine 28 reps per 3 sets (8-12 reps per set). That's why my ab visibility is good despite going up a lot in weight in the past 8 1/2 months.

The woman I went on a date with Saturday appeared to like my face and she encouraged me to keep eating and bulk up more. Narrow emaciated faces are a PSL meme and not necessarily ideal for the female gaze. Then again I am 37 and she's 38. Women that age want a man. They don't want a pretty boy. The bulk of the demographic on this forum is young.

Eat at a 250ish calorie surplus and 0.7g+ protein per lb. You can put on a lot of mass this way unless you just have terrible genetics

I've been in the gym for nearly 11 months now consistently (except for when I was sick with mono and later covid) and gained at least 18.4 lbs during my bulk since Sept 29th (126.4 -> 144.8 lbs my 7-day low, which was Friday). I weighed in at 146.2 this morning. And I still don't look like I lift when I wear a shirt. lmfao. Though my tight fuckboy shirts actually hug my chest now. I only look like my lift when I wear my gym clothes with the exposed arms and get a good look at myself in the mirror at a good angle. Or take my shirt off. In relaxed mirror selfies I don't look like I lift. I need to get a good pump or at least flex to look like I lift in mirror selfies.

When I was 5'6" 126.4 lbs back in late September and posted my shirtless selfie on looksmax I was mocked and called a femboy. lmfao. Being that lean with little to no muscle is a failo. And a death sentence probably if you're 5'6".

Yes normies can get away with not going to the gym unironically since they are fat, but if you're actually looksmaxxing and getting lean you'll look tiny with an average amount of muscle mass

I was told back in August of last year by an old friend that I look like a 12 year old boy. lmfao. I needed to leanmax a bit anyways since I was fat to start with (5'6" 168.2 lbs and sedentary). But I leanmaxxed tooo much.
