no hate to turks on this forum but why the fuck do some of you niggas claim to be european half of the time.
Like Turkic I get it, but european is a far stretch ngl. This whole argument is a centuries old debate and a lot of people say turks are this and that.
If you were to ask a logical non biased individual what turks are they would mostly say "anatolian natives mixed with turks."
And this is accurate however a lot of Turks push this "we iz pure turkic" rhetoric and it’s genuinely embarrassing when a majority of turks have less then 30% Central Asian Ancestry. With some individuals possessing more than 30% with them being outliers.
I see a lot of maps online stating that just because one individual has that much ancestral traceability suddenly everyone in that state/province has the exact same amount.
Heres an Example:
These maps are horribly inaccurate and misleading and just keeps pushing and generating this narrative of how Anatolian turks have "huge amounts of central asian turkic influence."
When in reality they cluster closer with Balkan, Caucasian and Middle Eastern populations as shown in this next image:
How does 60% on one image make any sense? It’s pushing intense bias without regarding any real genetic data and variables.
However when a true dataset is presented it shows that turks cluster closer with middle eastern and Caucasian populations more ?
Now let me say this, theres nothing wrong with being Turkish as I have friends whom are Turkish but, SOME of you niggas cannot be dissing Armenians, Kurds or even Arabs when a decent amount of your population looks near identical to them
Let go of this nonsense and truly embrace the richness of your culture which is being a crossroad of multiple generations of empires and states and ethnicities.
