This is the most true statement ever and why we may even live in a simulation. I feel the same and even had women who I’m with who tell me I’m hot every few hours and I will take a selfie with them and they’ll be like eww why do u look so different in these pics. And tell me I’m hotter than what photos capture and shit like it just adds heavily to my bdd and never knowing what I really look like

What I do is I just tell myself that I’ll never truly know what I look like all the time. So I just have an image of what I look in sunlight and then just assume I look slightly worse inside or at night time. Even tho this is a website that cares about looks 24/7, very few people here seem to have this problem. So it could just be a mental thing

Or I have another theory in that some people have a specific 3D structure to their skulls that flat pics can’t capture it. So far in my life, I’ve NEVER taken a pic that looks exactly what I look like irl. Even in my good pics I still don’t look like me. Pics can’t capture my forward growth at all. My face always looks flatter than what it actually is. Pics are a scam tbh

Yeah I just basically tell myself the same thing and never look at myself in shitty selfie cams or pictures other take. I get told I am gl IRL so I just have to believe it’s true despite what I see in pictures
