Naruto, Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen, MHA, One Punch Man etc... Every main-stream anime that focuses on the hero-journey and all the grinding of the protagonist are just boring. You can see the plot redoing over and over again; He loses his wife, he comes back from the dead, he fights with his friend, He defeats the demon, and then loved by everyone. This kind of epic story can be traced back 2000-4000 years ago in the story of greek and egyptian. A lot of normies still watching the same shit all over and over. New shit like Frieren is just a boring slice-of-life plot style that doesn't really have any point or direction whatsoever. It's just an old elf with her disciple on their journey to the pure-metaphysical land [good-animation halo is real].
I can't understand how Normie can't grow out of it. They're stuck in the loop of illusion. Games are getting remastered infinitely. Anime is nothing but a reoccurring mythology, teaching you the same stuff about this world and your psyche. An endless consumerism, repeat into this structure over and over for a thousand years.
Atleast reading philosophy give you some deep inside about yourself.
But for anime? Its just a big meaningless cope. Same thing with the general normie shit like Marvel and DC Universe.
