anime is not profound, it's goyslop for laughs and giggles. watch it if you wanna waste time and escape reality, or see a fictional character suffer more than you do, that's it

that's how it is with 100% of "nerdy" hobbies. for example im a Hatsune Miku fan, and simply because im above average in looks (not chad obv but +- mmtn), for me it's kinda a halo imagine how big of a halo i'd have if i were cl+. why would anime have any less writing complexity than any other piece of media? it's not like it suddenly becomes slop just because it comes from japan this sounds like a media illiteracy take or you're just trying to appeal to the rest of the niggas on this forum i can't really tell

you yourself made a post about aot letting us know how much you enjoyed it and how you'd love to watch it again but all of a sudden it's anime is all goyslop? hmm... i think it's more likely to be the latter
