Wouldn't be surprised if with the orthodontic treatment which then gives you a wider smile an average MSE patient got as much as 0.25-0.5 points. He will nevertheless do a BIMAX after this so the difference will be large.

I think there is some visible change though minimal. You can get much higher lateral expansion than he did. Also forwardness is of course much more important than width.
