Like all my threads imma try to keep this short.
essentially, I have a slight antegonial notch on the right, when compared to the left mandible. Also, my right masseter is decently more developed than the left (I chewed only with right and chewed gum 24/7 from year 10- halfway through year 11, only stopping a few months ago).
If I stop chewing gum with it/stop chewing as frequently and chew with pre molars or k9’s, should the right antegonial notch go away or is it genetic/I fixable w/o surgery?
Here’s some pics. After looking through old photos of me halfway through year 10 there is a small show of antegonial notch but nothing big, so it’s definitely developed due to chewing.

Surely the bone can decay because of wolff’s law, if I don’t use the right masseter muscle as much over the next year?

It probably is worth mentioning that it goes away when I don’t flex my masseter which I never do naturally so I guess it’s not too big of a deal, and my right side jaw body looks better in flash photos due to better jaw development so maybe I should even out the left side and not clench

Lopsided dental occlusion appears to affect the development of the cant of your lower half of your face. Did you have crowded lower teeth growing up?

Not really nah. Uppers where fucked but lowers were fine

Antegonial notch isn’t a flaw, why would you want to get rid of it?

It just prevents the jaw from looking straight when clenched and I hate that personally tbh
