it was like the same one, attached to the teeth and there were 2 screws so kinda hybrid. after like a month they switched him to fully teeth borne when the suture was all the way separatedwhat kind did he get. if its boneborn thats a diff story than OPs question

Yeah, I’d say it’s generally worth it, but it really depends on the severity of the malocclusion. Palatal expansion can be effective, but it also has the potential to negatively impact facial aesthetics, especially if applied too aggressively or without proper oversight.
