I played black desert for a couple days, the character creation was really good, but idk just couldn't get into it. Mostly got into WoW bc I played warcraft 3 a lot and liked the characters and my friend introduced me to it.

BDO is asscheeks. I liked the fact that you could be a sailor but man JFL I was overwhelmed by the amount of shit I had to do everyday

I understand the need to make interesting content but JFL doing daily runs from one town to an island in the middle of the ocean everyday for like a month to level up your skills is so absurd

With that being said I reach max level on like 20 characters on that game and I always return to it EVEN though I suck

I will never get it again though, it was the last straw for me when I played it a couple weeks ago. Total shit.

To this day nothing mogs old-school MMORPGs surprisingly. All new MMOs are designed to feel like singleplayer games in a world full of players, whereas old MMOs focused less on story and more on player interaction, with some games even focusing on both story and player interaction (such as LOTRO and I think WoW)
