Any of you oldcels look younger than you actually are? Does it have any effect on your life?

I'm 22 but I hang out with people aged 17 - 18 and they almost always think of me as their age when they meet me for the first time, they get baffled when I tell them how old I actually am.

I think that has more benefits than disadvantages overall but I sometimes feel like I'm not taken seriously by peers my own age. And on top of that I'm mentally not that mature also.

i agree theres time to be foolish and time to be serious. Crazy enough my self and social awareness is definitely up there since i can notice people moods easily

Maybe my peers are just trying too hard to appear serious and responsible, to me, being serious and acting "grown up" is not a way to live, especially in your 20s.

How you age is mostly genetic ofc but I think those people younger than me started consuming alcohol and smoking much earlier than I did at their age (especially in circles I hang around with) so that's why they look the way they look.
