Anybody here got Bimax for Downgrowth?

Lots of people get CCW, but for people who suffer from true downgrowth (with other falios such as flat midface + negative orbital vector), have any of you had Bimax done?

btw I think CW results better than CCW results because it has more of an impact on the front

I think you're talking about SFS right? Yeah they ascend hard, though there's a chance they can develop chimp philtrum or an unappealing nose post surgery

I'm still talking about CCW for downgrowth btw, it's just most people I see who get it done, don't have everything that accompanies true downgrowth: flat midfaces + true negative orbital vector + hooked nose.. trifecta

Bimax doesnt change orbital vector

Why would it? It doesn’t solve clubfoot either

Yeah, I've heard it does raise the lower rim of eyelid by 1-2mm (noticeable for eye area), doesn't move bone

But my question was more around the people who have this type of growth pattern, have they been operated on?

I haven't seen any examples of such people on this site

Its an unreliable change and hardly worth even mentioning

Can you please list the exact traits that you think are associated with “downgrowth”

Its not like its a discrete condition or diagnosis

This girl is another example of true downgrowth. I think some indicators matter more, in this case her flat nasal area (above philtrum) + negative orbital vector

Whereas some people like below also do a CCW despite having good "upper maxilla":

I have downgrown skull too and i'm contemplating bimax mainly for this too, you would 100% benefit by it , probably the gold standard treatment but ofc more invasive and expensive. trimax ccw and inframalar is what you need to fix ur skull.

I was told a normal LF1 helps the nasal area if you get sufficient advancement

How many mm is the fatpad on the rim? I gott some sag there, i am almost 29 though. But orbital Vector is like the weird one. Some people with negative dont have sclera show like me but then many have have. But no one with positive has sclera show (except illness). Fat pads is indeed the most important if u dont have a saggy under lid. Mine is saggish but i have looked in to spacer graft then maybe fattransfer
