Anybody who says they’re “neurodivergent” is an NT normie

I’m sick of seeing people, women in particular, describing themselves as “neurodivergent” because they feel slightly uncomfortable around new people and watch anime. No interesting beliefs or values, just quasi nerdy interests that they think makes them quirky or different. I feel like being non NT has become a trend like being lgbt has. This leads to actual non NT aspies being looked at as evil weirdos, because people think being mentally ill = a 16 year old girl who likes nerdy things and is slightly less attractive than her peers.

This has been a trend for a minute. People love to claim disadvantages to be unqiue and quirky and get virtue signalers. The amount of people that fake mental illness on twitter and tiktok is insulting. But some people might genuinely misuse the term over time. Like saying you like having stuff neat is OCD draws away from ACTUAL OCD which i have mild. Now i cant just say i have it and have people understand what it really means.
