I feel the cowboy era and Wild West was the last great time a romantic type art could ever be potrayed of it. After that we had the great wars but that’s it. It can explains the fascination for it by boomers as well, cause it’s the last time men were actually free.

Yeah, in Ukraine and Russia we had our own wild west, cossacks and shit.

Last time man was free here was 100 years ago with Makhno.
