Supposedly you don't lose any foreskin (or very little), if you do this, and it's still gonna look uncut, which is ideal.

it doesn't hurt per se because they give you lots of pain medication, but first week after surgery was hell
I fainted on the same day of the surgery when I tried to stand up and walk, couldn't urinate and they had to put a needle in my urethra and drain liquid in that way....worst pain of my life.
Then I got nausea and my mouth was wired shut with elastics...couldn't even vomit, I had to lean in a certain way and slowly get the vomit out through small holes in the elastics or I would have chocked JFL. You can't drink for a day after surgery and I was hallucinating because I was so thirsty. The liquid diet was actually the easy part. And all my face was numb, I couldn't even feel it....from my eyes down everything was numb, tongue included of course.....gradually I regained all my feeling (still don't have some feeling in the left side of my chin).
After the first week it does get easier though, but not that easier....let's say it's not hell anymore.
