Anyone have any experience here with bimaxes?

I have a consultation with my ortho tomorrow to talk about following through with DJS, I was originally told a LF1 would fix my issue which is my underbite. I was wondering would a bimax be more beneficial, appearance-wise as my mandible is rather short and could benefit from probably being advanced?

No one can give you any meaningfull advice without a xray of your side profile. No one has xray vision. You could have a tooth problem and solve it via braces or a jaw problem and fix it via lefort 1.

Show your underbite. I was thinking about lf1 also since my mandible is quite long. I have a recessed forehead and decent forward growth so prob lf1 would dogmaxx me
