Was it worth it what side effects did you experience? Anything which stayed after stopping treatment?

I've heard about crazy side effects like people saying accutane makes them depressed/suicidal, stunting growth I think I heard about it making your bones turn green, is all of this just fear mongering? also What do you take with accutane to minimise its side effects like dry skin or joint pain

People on reddit are why most studies will have a placebo group. These people would get side effects from anything.

Bones green is fear mongering, that might be a different medication IIRC, but I don't think even that other medication really has that as a side effect.
Isotretinoin doesn't stunt growth, I've already addressed this in some posts I've made, see if you can search for them and the literature related.
Dry skin, just drop the dosage, or moisturise then use an emollient.
Joint pain is non-existent on a conservative dose, just use joint-protective supplements like Fish Oil, MSM, Glucosamine, etc., if you are suffering though.
As for depression, I think it's if you have a genetic predisposition, but just use SSRIs alongside or do something that will increase neurotrophic factor in the brain to mitigate.

Could you please tell me how much you take and what/how much you recommend I take if I don't want to risk serious side effects? Also another thing that makes me scared to start is the effect it has on babies when taken by their pregnant mothers is that not a problem for men and will everything go back to normal after stopping?

Do you plan on getting pregnant as a man?
Stop worrying.
Take 10mg and be happy.
If you're concerned, read my previous posts, just search "isotretinoin" by my user. I don't want to reiterate everything I've said.
