If so, where and how? I’m struggling to find any private clinics here in the U.K. which offer this procedure. It’s so easy to find a rhino surgeon in comparison to this.

I'd rather stay in the UK for logistical reasons. I also find it difficult to believe that those countries all have bimax and a more medically advanced country like England doesn't. I feel like I'm just being retarded and not looking in the right places.

Ok but I'm sure it should be possible to find clinics just by searching on the internet surely? I'd be quite hesitant to go to some secret clinic which can only be found on a forum like this anyway lol, sounds dodgy

Come on mate stop taking the piss, I should be able to fix my fucked up jaw without having to fly abroad to some undeveloped country. Why is it that tax leeches can get the surgery free of charge but someone like me who actually wants to pay so he doesn't have to wait years can't even get it done in his country? Can anyone give me some actual advice or am I the only person on this whole website from the UK

Hes not taking the piss, he's a certified bimax surgeon and has a clinic in his house. I went there for mine after consulting with him on discord.

Thank you very much bro, but quite frankly I'm not sure I would feel comfortable operating on OP anymore as he has made me very sad with his attitude problem.

Every maxillofacial surgeon in the UK is terrible for aesthetics. Even the Harley Street ones. Go to Europe or you will regret it.

Pre-Brexit I'd probably seriously consider going to Europe if it's really that much better, but nowadays I don't even know how I'd go about it. Is there really not a single good bimax surgeon in the UK, at any budget?

From what I have been told Harley street in London is where the best surgeons are. I have a consulation in manchester in september. I will make a post and tag you to see what they say.

However I am also planning to travel overseas. I have been told (from multiple sources) UK maxfac surgeons aren't great, because there is low demand for cosmetic jaw surgery. Most people will get jaw surgery on the NHS and they will only make basic cuts for functional results.
I think the main advantage of travelling overseas is the lower cost (I can't confirm this) and the best surgeons are all in europe. I would imagine harley street surgeons cost alot £££. I have another appointment with Doctor Zarrinbal in october, so I will see how that goes.

I am skeptical that there are no good maxfac surgeons in the UK. So I will have a look around in the future. I am sure there are still undiscovered surgeons across the world, that are outside the looksmaxxing sphere scope.

Thanks bro, please do tag. Is your consultation for bimax, and if so what clinic in manchester? I’m interested and would be happy to travel to Manchester (near me anyways) if there’s a good one there. So far the only one I could find that looks somewhat decent (bearing in mind I haven’t spoken to them) is this one https://harleystreetmaxillofacialclinic.com/

No.

Brexit doesn't mean there's an iron curtain between us and the rest of Europe anyways

Yeah but it does make things harder tho. I'm pretty sure it's easier to travel to America (ESTA) than EU right now.

The UK is a trash tier when it comes to cosmetic surgery.

You wont find a single good maxfac there, and don't fall for the Harley street meme. I have personally consulted on Harley street and its filled with salesman snearing in low IQ rich people under the ancient prestige of Harley street. Expect a chin implant and rhino for £10,000

Im from the UK and currently in Italy about to undergo my surgical plan.

By the tone of your messages you infer that international surgeons are inferior, this is not the case at all. They are actually superior and more cost effective.

You need to spend time researching this in detail. Took me years to create my plan and seeing through all the crap.

There was a post on here about a guy who had jaw surgery in the UK for £30k + £8k for braces and was left with an assymetric chin and hates it.

Are you getting Bimax? If I was getting a rhino or something like that where it’s one visit I’d probably do this, but afaik bimax is a lengthy procedure which includes braces treatment for 1 year + before and after the surgery, therefore I would assume that means several visits over a long stretch of time. Wouldn’t I be flying out to wherever every few months for upwards of 2-3 years?

Bimax + genioplasty + rhinoplasty + custom infraorbital malar implants

In this day and age alot of international surgeons will have you as an E-patient where everything is done remotely.

You can have a uk orthodontist liase with your surgeon and prepare you.

I started my braces September 2020 and am now ready.

Are you currently living in italy? Or are you just staying there temporarily. Which Bimax surgeon did you consult with? I plan on visiting Dr Raffaini before the end of the year.

Have you had a consultation with Raffaini? Apparently he is very proud and comes off as a bit of an asshole. Ngl Ramieri looks more high trust and friendly then Raffaini :lul:. Lookism never ends.

Dr Raffaini doesnt like ethnics or internationals however, he is a godsend to italian women . When i messaged his team a long time back they were nice over the phone, after i sent my photos in they became extremely rude and unhelpful (im ethnic). They also wanted to charge me extra for the consult and bring unnecessary things. Essentially creating red tape to deter me from coming. Also you have to do everything in person you will have to travel to see him

Make of that what you will.

You did also have the soft tissue prediction with him?
How effective do you think it is?
And where did you get the dental stl model which are needed for that?

Yeah atleast you get it covered easily, compared to the U.S where even if you're deformed, you'd still have to pay :feelskek:

Dr Raffaini wanted to charge me €100 euros more to consult then he does for italians, which lorsss confirmed. Also he wanted me to bring the below which is impossible to get and is done in the final stages.

Basically this is how they show they hate you by charging you more and making it difficult to consult with them.

Have you consulted with this guy by any chance?

He's an Italian surgeon located in London, haven't contacted him but based off his website he seems pretty solid and like he focuses on aesthetics.

Im afraid not.

Its just my opinion/experience with Dr Raffaini if you believe in him then its best to consult and see from your perspective.

Yeah me and Dr Ramieri have been planning online we have the final consult Monday for the movements as my teeth are in position so doing scans and tests to prepare.

I see.

I talked to Raffaini's clinic (without them knowing I am ethnic) and the dental cast was one of the first things they asked. But yeah I have heard his favourite clients are ugly Italian women.
