MaybeShould I use accutane and tret at the same time![]()
Idk. I would use tret as maintenance honestly after you are done with accutane. It might make your skin too dry i thinkShould I use accutane and tret at the same time![]()
YBad decision Tret is shit.
Constant purging, dry shin, list goes on.
I dont mind it tbhConstant purging, dry shin, list goes on.
Use taz if you want topical.
Ideally isotretinoin though.

Okay sure but Taz is often more irritatingConstant purging, dry shin, list goes on.

no, topical retinoids should be used after itsotretinoin to maintain those resultsShould I use accutane and tret at the same time![]()
Isn't tret supposed to be "better" long term since it targets most of the receptors like you said or are those extra receptors engaged useless? But yeah while taz isn't as much studied as tret for the long term their results should be the same. Only complaints i heard is that some people had less glow on taz than tret but that’s cope I thinkCope
They provide the same results long term but Tazarotene is more aggressive and will yield results much faster with out the irritation produced by Tretinoin. Tazarotene is gentler because it's far more selective than Tretinoin and doesn't touch RAR alpha and RAR beta.
