aqualyx pin angle question

My aqualyx order is coming in today and I have a question.

I'm pinning in the sub q layer of my cheeks my body fat is around 24 to 26 percent body fat so can I get away with pinning at a 90 degrees angle instead of pinning the aqualyx at a 45 degree angle?

I'm using 31 gauge 8mm slins.

I will be pinching for all my pins
