This is suppose to be surprising? It is the norm. Most north african arabs only view black muslims as allies when its politically useful or when they are in a non-threatening position (in other words: not fucking their women or gaining political power in their countries).

In France this dynamic has gone on for a long time. Social media has made it more public. What is funny is Arab muslims will freely and aggressively chase any type of woman (muslim or not) they want, but if their women date outside their culture they are viciously condemned for it. this is interesting. Nearly every arab girl I know of is either or was either in an interracial relationship with a black man. It never seemed to bother their fathers, brothers, or any of their male arab friends. Maybe American arabs are just more accepting
