Are AIs-field really worth it and if so, is it hard to work-in ?

Is the AI-field a really future changer and if so, what should I read / learn to get into ? Is it really an IQ-closed-field or is it accessible for autists like me ?

If you're doing actual ML research (developing new/improving models n shiet) then ye high IQ only + heavy maths bg. If you're applying in another domain, eg life sciences, then anyone who knows how to program in Python can do it

Otherwise if you're just a hobbyist no not really. Unless you have brilliant ideas and you found a niche market. Some examples of hobbyists that I know did make a substantial amount with AI generated image/music/video NFTs (crypto)
