fat should be the first one not optimal at all
 
i think it's all about calories and nothing else, personally. If anything, back when I used to be on keto diets, i'd say my face looked fatter for some reason than if I ate carbs. No idea why.
 
you can't tell your body what's optimal or not it knows what's optimal
so you cant tell either? You're trying to argue something without any basis, something I also didn't argue. I eat carbohydrates, but fat has to be the number one source of energy and is more easily processed by the liver, and besides, it has been consumed for longer than carbohydrates, which became the number one source of nutrients 2,000 years ago.

what. bro im saying that your body is a perfect machine, and that machine uses carbohydrates as it's primary source, cutting it down to monosaccharides whenever you need energy. you can't tell your body "muh buh carbs bad use fat instead" cause it doesn't listen to anyone. our ancestors ate fruit, nuts, seeds to get their carbs in even though their diet was primarily animal based.

how about seeing them as yin and yang, where no one is on top and they both rely on each other? I think that's a healthy way to see our essential nutrients :feelsyay:
 
ur brain runs on glucose and your body has an entire system to convert fats and proteins into carbs, no nah they're very very important. General rule of thumb I follow is to try and keep my carbs as complex as possible (starches), and maybe some simple ones before lifting and that's it.
