So in a few months I will get fat grafts for the upper eyelid, but I also want to correct the hallowness from my undereyes! I had dark circles all my life, even as a kid and I don't know wheather it's a bone problem or a fat problem, because my skin under eyes is extremly thin and it looks like I have 0 fat there! I was thinking to get fat grafts there too, would these help getting rid of hallowness and of crow's feet? Or what surgeries are the best for my case to correct my eye area failos?

fat into the upper periorbital region will fix upper eyelid hollowing, reduce or completely remove uee (oculoplastic surgeons will refer to this as a superior sulcus repair). It works by adding volume INTO the orbit, which is also a very good health indicator. You lose fat pads as you age and periorbital fat seems to be one of the places that hit hardest by that fat loss sadly.

i'd say you would benefit from this, make sure you choose an experienced surgeon / injector to perform this, make sure they know about all the safety precautions like cannula sizes etc. as injecting into an artery could kill you.

This user had similar 'before' as you, see his results if you haven't already

For under eye I'm not so sure, never seen good results so I'd rather not speak on it.

You seem knowledgable , If you had to pick two procedures for the eyes in general that are both on the lower end risk wise and give the best aesthetic results , which would you pick ,

Thanks for the answer, yes I know fat grafting will fix my UEE and I saw that guy's results but he had way less UEE than I do, but that's no problem because mine is fixable too! What do you think I should ask my surgeon to know if he knows about safety precautions?

I see, but I belive that hallowness is purely because of lack of fat, the skin on my eyelid is extreeeemly thin and even as a kid I had these dark circles and crow's feet, so def not aging and I never lost any fat, that's just how I got born jfl! What do you think? I just want to get the under eyes super overfilled

I get shit for saying this, bc everyone on this site is obsessed with muh bones, but for eyes SOFT TISSUE work will outperform any osteotomy / implant in terms of aesthetics.

As for the two I'd recommend, firstly fat grafting as per OP's post. Secondly, a temporal lift, or lateral temporal lift. These can be combined with other lifts like malar to create a nice contour around the cheekbone. I'll find some good results and send them, but you could ascend most eye areas with these two procedures (assuming a normal base without any deformations / issues, like for example, if one or both of your levator muscles (palpebrae superioris) are weak and you have droopy eyelids, then you'd need a ptosis correction first before these other procedures.

Yes ask your surgeon about safety precautions, ask about:

- use of blunt-tipped cannulas instead of sharp needles
- small volume, low-pressure injection using the retrograde technique (injecting while withdrawing)
- aspiration before injection to check for intravascular placement
- ask about his anatomical knowledge, he should know to avoid high-risk arterial zones like the supratrochlear and supraorbital arteries
- Ask your surgeon if they’re using 22G or larger blunt-tip cannulas, ideally with ultrasound guidance

Also, ask them how long the procedure should take (not the fat extraction but the injecting itself), if they say it will be quick or like 15-20 mins then be aware, injecting should be a slow process

Everyone has thin skin under their eyes, men in general have less fat there too. Its only a bad look when they look truly 'sunken' / gaunt, which I doubt yours do, but in any case, consult the same doctor who is doing your upper eye, he should know more about it than anyone on here, I know its a pretty common procedure, also I just looked at some results and they look okay, seem to remove dark circles if the root cause is lack of fat. But I've heard under eye is even more risky than upper eye so be careful.

Thanks a lot for giving me more details! Anyways my first fat graft will ofc be on upper eyelid as this is my major flaw, but if everything goes good, I will get on under eyes too! You said it's bad when they look truly sunken, have you seen the second and the last photo from what I posted of my eye area?To me they look pretty sunken and it creates shadows, like it literally looks like a gap, what do you think?
And by the way this is a result of the surgeon I am going to

Yes bro, but I am not Gandy jfl, what do you think about the results? And should I ask all of those things at my consultation, I don't want him to dump me because I am a pain in the ass patient, he's the best surgeon with results in my country and I really won't have other options

If he dumps you or gets angry because you're asking about your safety then you just dodged a massive bullet

Check PM and he has a lot of good results from what I have seen, no surgeon in my country has that many results as him

Hello, can I have the surgeon name as well in PM please ?
