Don't go over the top with the chadify. It just needs to resemble you a bit. If she says you look a bit different, then you can put in a weight excuse.

For the same level of looks good pics are obviously prefered to bathroom selfies. And if you have some striking features, you may sabotage yourself if you have pictures where they ain't well visible. For shorter people it's probably a bad idea to have full standing pictures. If you have good eye area, photos in sunglasses wouldn't be optimal, if you have great hair - photos in hats and caps. Thick neck - photos with scarf. Great physique - too baggy clothes. Great coloring - photos under bright colorful lighting, such as night clubs. Weak side profile - photos of side profile, obviously.
And remember - you are competing with guys who fraud (it's common to see "a slight touch", such as "Hollywood" filter from Faceapp, corrected skin flaws, enhanced contrast on body for muscles definition) for the girls who fraud too (makeup, filters etc).

Selfies are generally not good unless you're Chad, and selfies at home are the worst. If you're going to take a selfie then do it in a trendy restaurant bathroom or someplace that looks like you have a life. If you have no friends then put your phone on a tripod and record video of yourself doing something and pick out frames where you look good. Anytime you are socialising try to be low inhib and take group photos at every opportunity. This can annoy others in your company if they are incels but it's mog or be mogged in 2022.
