Are multivitamins actually good for your hair?

I'm currently on one called Permea Plus.

I'm 18 and honestly don't take good care of my hair.
I'm not balding, but I definitely have a mature hairline, (a very subtle widow's peak with the lowest point being at my highest forehead wrinkle) but I want to stop any recession before it happens.

How effective are these "multivitamins for men"?

multivitamins are only good to waste your money

Is this from experience?

Isn't vitamin E super good for your hair anyway?

Vitamin supplementation in general is a placebo.

You only need to supplement with certain vitamins if doctors find you have a deficiency, which is not likely to happen.

I might be actually.

I hate my uni's food and lost 8 kgs in 2 months because I just didn't eat. I'll probably take them.
