are my nasiolabial folds caused by fat or recessed midface?

my anterior facial measurement depth is okay, but i just store an absurd amount of fat in my face, i have zero indication of hollow cheeks even when i open my mouth, and in bad lightning i have quite distinct folds. can someone help me with this its my all time biggest insecurity and makes me want to cry. can pm a pic of my side profile if needed.
