Are strength genetics related to muscle building genetics in the gym ?

To be clear, if you're above average in terms of strength, does it mean you're going to have an above average physique (even among gymcels) ? I bench 135 for 8 reps at 120-125 body wheight at 14 yo after a few months of training, is it over for me ?

matt vena is strong as a gorilla but looks DYEL
even if he trained like a bodybuilder he'd prolly look like shit

strength has a lot more to do with the nervous system

imo below 225 is rope tier, but with my skinny ass it's going to take quite a lot of bulk :feelsbadman:

yeah your pretty strong for your age i was like 8 times at the gym in my life and i tried benching and i did like 177
 
imo below 225 is rope tier, but with my skinny ass it's going to take quite a lot of bulk :feelsbadman:
i hit 225 @ 130 lbs in under a year following UFpwrlifters program but its bench specific program benching 3x a week

no, most olympic powerlifters are "small" (still bigger than average person ofc)
