Are you born with your muscle insertions, or do they “develop”

For example your pectoralis/chest insertions, lat insertions, bicep insertions etc.
Are they determined by just genetics or do they develop during puberty?

you are born with it

You can't change their shape. There are people who train 5+ years, have insanely low body fat and their abs look like a jumbled mess with no symmetry and varying insertion size.

Just the way you are born with insertions, no kind of workout or diet can change it.

Reddit abs

Like this infamous reddit guy with very unfortunate insertions and fat distribution, he would need to drop to ~5% body fat (IFBB pro level which can't usually be reached without PED's or steroids) to reveal his lower abs and even then his insertions are asymmetric and weird.

I think when you're at the pre-puberty age (ie 6-12 years old) the stress applied to them can change their insertions, but the changes are not very significant

for example, I lived on a farm from 7 to 10 years old and I did some heavy (for that age) farm work. my wrists and ankles are both very thick, same with my fingers and probably a bunch of other bone groups in my body. the muscle tendons are connected to the bones and with my bones thickening and changing their shapes, I guess it's probable that the muscle shapes can change as well.

I can be horribly wrong of course, but its the one thing, other than genetics, that could affect the insertions of the muscle groups
