I think it's weird for them bcos it actively lowers their smv and wastes their prime, for man it's different imo

But is it wasting their prime to not settle down with a man they’re not attracted to? Why would they want to reproduce with a man whose genes they see as suboptimal? It would be a waste of their prime to settle for their looksmatch when hypergamy can get them a guy a whole level above them, or a statusmaxxed/moneymaxxed guy if they play their cards right
