My parents worked in fully legal businesses, however they did have to get involved with illegal stuff

My dad owned the largest phone sale company in Ukraine at the time, before he sold it off to his biggest competitor around the time I was born, while my mom owned tourist and visa agencies, but worked with the government for a bit.

The illegal stuff comes in when competitors tried to strong arm my parents into bad deals. For example, A guy tried to scam my mom out of 20k and showed up with henchman (who had pistols) but my mom showed up with guys who had AKs so the other guy backed down.

This was pretty common place I Ukraine, and still is

Even I used to go a school similar to this. Like a cram school. It was like boarding school that specifically prepared you for certain entrance exams. On the ground floor there was the lobby, 1-2 the classrooms, 3rd the mess and dining area and top floors were dorm rooms. You go up and down for everything and you are confined to that place. Classes from 9 to 6. Barely any breaks and little to no time to socialize even female and male classmates were made to sit on different sides of the class. @aladdinmaxxer @browncurrycel know what I'm talking about

At 16 I pet the hair of the foid who sat in front of me in Algebra 2.

That foid threw a hissy fit (which embarrassed me in front of the whole class)

in what way? youd talk to people you barely knew existed which created a pretty nice dynamic where everybody in the whole year group was cool w one another. i remember in my senior year school felt like hanging out with friends but with interesting physics, philosophical,math+cs problems to solve. i remember my mouth always hurt from laughing all the time at the end of each school day. good times

Even at 30+, I have a hard time socially at big gatherings.

When some neighbors roped me into attending a party at 30, everyone else could seamlessly float from circle to circle. Yet I couldn't. I ended up humiliating myself.

One negative of only being a mild autist is that the outside world generally doesn't suspect we're autists. So they do stuff like rope a mildly autistic neighbor (me) into attending a party, having no idea the neighbor is an autist.
