“Arimistane is known as a suicide aromatase inhibitor or an irreversible AI, which means you don’t get any estrogen rebound once you stop using it. Arimistane works by inhibiting the conversion of androgens (male hormones) to estrogens (female hormones), while Aromasin works by inhibiting the production of estrogen in the body.”

Arimistane will most likely not be as effective as Aromasin or Arimidex for reducing estrogen levels. Arimistane is sold as a dietary supplement. In a study where Arimistane was used in eugonadal males around 26 years old, Arimistane was shown to significantly increase estradiol and estrone levels. Arimistane increased estradiol by 27% (300 mg) and 12% (600 mg) and estrone by 22% (300 mg) and 52% (600 mg). I advise against using it for any estrogen-reducing purposes!
