As a young man you should be willing to throw every penny you have at maintaining your hair/hairline.

Good fucking lord he’s at a NW2 and it’s already getting bad

More Norwood reaper fuel.
Prettyboy death is almost always 80% mediated by balding mark my words

Balding is extremely negative in under 26 and/or single males.

It slashed facial attractiveness by at least ~50% in most cases

Honestly should be a bannable offence fearmongering 5-at inhibitors and minoxidil on this site

Depends on age. If you can I’d wait until 20-22 range to start a DHT blocker just in case, unless you’re Norwooding early then doctors will prescribe at 18.

Minoxidil can be used really at any age and it’s pretty easy to use x2 results if you dermastamp. I personally also take 5mg oral minoxidil as well.

Issue with waiting to check for balding is by the time you notice you’ve already lost significant ground, you can guesstimate looking at your father and your maternal grandfather for when you will bald in order to prevent it.

If you start noticing an increased shed of thin hairs <4cm in length that’s a sign you are losing hair

Always said/heard that hair is 50% of your attractiveness. Funny to see there's actually a study confirming it

What about Topical DHT blockers?

Depends on what kind of gay you are ig

They work but are more expensive. Topical finasteride in studies reaches similar systemic levels as oral after a few weeks it’s very permeable so imo it’s redundant. Idk about topical dutasteride on the other hand.

Could always go for topical RU but need a legit source and it’s stability is questionable

Do you think someone should start using a topical DHT blocker along with minoxidil if they're 18 and only have a maturing hairline (not a Norwood pattern)?

Very difficult to determine matured hairline vs balding they’re driven by the same process of androgens it’s just that one continues.

If it’s not much I’d recommend using minoxidil + a dermastamp on the hairline and if it looks like you are balding consider getting fin from a doctor when you are 20-21
