Daniel Dae Kim can't get acting work in Korea because he looks too “masculine” and “everyman” for Korean casting directors tastes.
Korean male celebrities all have plastic surgery to make them look like feminized boys and are all naturally low t in development. Hence why many are tall but have no substantial frame. In fact I would go as far as to say that Korean male beauty ideals are more in line with Castrati (castrated boys who grow tall and lanky with soft hair, skin and features) than hormonally healthy males.
