Study’s resources: I asked 30 random girls on Snapchat and Instagram (ages 16–24). I showed them two edited versions of the same male face. One edit focused on improving the eye area (canthal tilt, eyelids, under-eye support), the other focused on improving the jawline (sharper chin, wider jaw, gonial angle). Same lighting, same face, no filters. I asked which one they found more attractive and why.

19 out of 30 picked the eye-focused face (around 63%). Most of them mentioned things like “he looks more intense,” “more attractive to look at,” or “his eyes are nicer.” A few said he looked smarter or more mature. A lot of these girls leaned more toward relationship or long-term attraction rather than just looks.

9 out of 30 picked the jaw-focused face (about 30%). Most of these girls said he looked more masculine or dominant. A couple mentioned that he looked better from the side. This group leaned more toward short-term attraction or physical appeal.

2 out of 30 said neither mattered much to them. Both said face attractiveness wasn’t that important and both were themselves below average looking.

My Notices: What I noticed was that eyes seem to matter more for overall attraction, especially when it comes to trust and emotional pull. Jawline helps but mostly as a secondary feature. Girls who described themselves as more mature or relationship-oriented almost always picked the eyes. Jaw preference showed up more with younger girls.

Conclusion: jawline increases masculinity, but eyes decide whether a face is actually attractive long term. A strong jaw without good eyes doesn’t carry the same weight as good eyes with an average jaw.

Nice

What's the point of this thread if you aren't going to post the two pictures? greycel threads are so fucking bad. I already knew the answer to this before i saw your thread, eyes matter for both men and women, more than jaw as long as you aren't a birdcel.

eye is law ig

It's a stupid debate. It really comes down to above average jaw and average eyes or above average eyes and average jaw. I don't think it matters much

Well The Point Of The Thread Was Not The Photos. Just The Generality Of Eyes Vs Jaw, The Two Photos I Used Are Mathew Boomer Prime And Brad Pitt Fight Club. There Some Of My Favorite Guys.

Then the answers are pointless because you are using two famous celebs, women will choose whichever celeb they are most attracted to, the eyes/jaw thing is irrelevant to them, they will not be able to differentiate because they know these people. The only way this works is if you choose unknown people who the women have not seen before. The results however would still be the same though, eyes would still win out.

Thanks For The Feedback I Will Try To Change It Next Time.

@ibonesmashmyramus I Think This Works

not good because it should have been two different profiles on a dating app. What women say is never the truth or accurate. They say one thing and do completely the opposite so this test is really useless. Its like asking a girl will you ever cheat on your partner and they will say no, and we all know thats not the truth.
