A survey site called onepoll published survey data showing about half of all women have a plan b partner in mind-a partner they can go to if their current relationship doesnt work out. In this data, they say married women are MORE likely to have a plan b partner and 8/10 were actively in contact with the plan b partner.
NOW, some say this is fake data because the data wasn’t super transparent (I did my research, im not giving false info here), so although the data seems to have some validity, its likely not the whole picture. So lets take a look at a respected psychology website, psychologytoday.com.
From Psychology today, it is reported (with verifiable information and clear information on how the data was collected) that 20 percent, or 1/5 women have a “plan b partner”. WTF.
Direct quote from the article: “I found that 20 percent of heterosexual women in committed relationships — one in five — will report having a Mr. Plan B. My research here provides support to the idea of partner insurance being a possible mating strategy among heterosexual women. To the extent that women in committed relationships may consider their closest male platonic friend to be a backup romantic partner”
Actually brutal. No matter how close you think you are to your girl, there is a good chance she has a backup partner, or a plan b partner in mind. This is accounting for backup partners being different than cheating by the way, so adding on the cheating women percentage of 10-20 percent, there is a 40-50 percent chance your girlfriend or wife is cheating on you, or actively has a backup partner in mind.
ABSURD.
