At what point did facial aesthetics have such a huge impact on men specifically?

I would say it started after the sexual revolution. Before the 60’s, people cared more about other things rather than only facial aesthetics on men. It really started taking off more in the 80’s, and in today’s time, betabuxxing isn’t enough

I couldn’t imagine 100 years ago women thirsting for some skull mogger. Probably get ioi’s but that’s it.

has probably always been important, just less talked about maybe because "caring for your looks" isnt usually pointed as masculine

I agree. For some reason as a kid I never really noticed men being good looking. Surprisingly enough before I was bp, the first guy who I ever thought was an insane mogger was cillian murphy, at like 16.

I always thought women were the gl ones, while men just sometimes are and they need money to get them
