On the other hand, you have progressive Christian’s who believe that Jesus loved every person which includes the lgbt community. If you think about it there is a large portion of the African American community who are both Christian and Democrat.

its not "liberal" to say jesus loves everybody, because he does. he loves the person and hates the sin. obviously being gay is against the laws of god, that does not mean he doesnt love you.

This is why majority of the far right groups who arent atheist are catholic, it makes the most sense and is the most traditional.

The nazi's weren't atheist though, most were into ancestor worship or a return to paganism, the more traditional german aristocrats were christians but the revolutionaries wanted to reject it entirely
