constitutional monarchies are REPUBLICS mixed with monarchy and every constitutional monarchy has different limit of what the monarch can do. russian empire was also a constitutional monarchy since 1905 yet the monarch was still very powerful, and we also see in britain today the monarch is a cuck who can't do shit. pathetic asf though. so its complicated.
republic=/=democarcy
republic is when some group of people chooses those who will vote for the one who will run the country (its like in USA rn)
democracy is when common people directly run the country

We can go into semantics all day but at the end of the day they are democratic and rely on democratic power/insitutions just in a more convoluted manner
