People who claim to have ADHD + Autism

Have much better social lives than people who claim to only be autistic

My theory is that ADHD has some kind of protective effect against the inhibitory effects of autism (possibly gaba-glutamate imbalance)

For example, an ND with both disorders will often give off a careless casual aura, they give off the vibe that they don’t give a fuck how they are perceived (notice I said they give this impression, not necessarily that they think this)

I also notice they’re able to escape social pitfalls by just blaming their mistake on autism and moving on, which makes normies more willing to move on and forgive them as well

Meanwhile, people who claim to have autism without any ADHD tend to give off a distant, stuck up, pretentious out-of-touch aura in the perspective of normies

Because they are just so in their head and high inhibition that there’s no immediacy to them, there’s a severed connection with the present moment that I think ADHD can mend in some cases

And this severed connection to the immediate world, is naturally repulsive to humans

Because we are creatures of relation, we make our decisions based on who we can relate to and reflect our selves onto

Of course, there will always be outliers, but this is a general trend Ive noticed

Anyone else see this, or no?

Idk

There’s like brain scans and shit showing how it affects specific areas

I haven’t researched too much into adhd specifically though

I do think a large portion are misdiagnosed though and just possess a certain disposition that isn’t necessarily due to brain structure

Retarded, autism is structural while adhd is chemical, someone who has autism without adhd can just sufficiently fulfil dopamine needs independently through strange hobbies etc

You probably only are referencing to combined people who have a mild case of adhd
