Finasteride blocks 60 - 75 % DHT in the scalp it is the most effective option but wait till you are 18 . I highly doubt you are balding at 16 and what is much more likely is you have a genetic widows peak , a natural v-shaped hairline pattern.

im 22 so i did not do too much of a research on this topic, but I would suggest OP to look in to this. Anyway.. currently on topical fin and no side effects. Thinking of taking it orally.
