Ok I’ll try to keep this decently short

I started finasteride at 19 with full hair just slightly recessed temples (nw1.5-2) right when I noticed (wanted to get on early because I have strong balding genes in family).

finasteride actually improved my hair a lot for 2 years and even the temples a bit. Now I recently had some growth in my skull at 21 (which happened to my brother at this age too which is weird) where my scalp and forehead become wider. I now get tension headaches and which I believe is from scalp issues and am having bad blood flow to the scalp.

my hairline is still in tact but I am losing density throughout the scalp. My hair doesn’t style like it used to and I’m seeing way more hairs in the shower at the exact time of this skull growth so I know it’s correlated. I would have no problem taking dutasteride as I’m not scared of sides (haven’t had any yet) but I don’t think the DHT is really my problem, I think it’s scalp tension and blood flow.

would getting a derminator for micro needling my scalp release scalp tension and improve blood flow? Or is it a myth for actually helping hairloss.

hair masks help but try to see if a shave/buzz cut suits you. for me, buzz cut suits me better imo makes my face structure pop out more and its way less complicated than taking care of hair. plus i dont look like a faggot

If the problem is stimulating bloodflow, then minoxidil is what you want to try. If you apply that and are on fin then you should see regrowth or at least cessation of hair loss. Microneedling also helps, it has been proven to be effective but exactly how effective I am not sure

yes ik I would rather not take minox tho if microneedling works.

Also I think it may be from scalp tension. Which I believe microneedling would help and not minox. Could be wrong

Finasteride can regrow hair but it’s primary use is halting MPD
Like you said you likely need some stimulation therapy such as minoxidil or microneedling.
Will warm you tho microneedling is painful tbh

Heard some people kind of like the pain and I honestly think I would. It would stimulate my scalp and I’ve been getting such headaches from the tension in my scalp I hope it would loosen it up and make it better

Do your temples protrude? How is your bite? I also have insane scalp tension and I think I need to see an ortho for braces again.

It feels worse when the needles eventually blunt and are due for a change.
Certain parts of the scalp hurt more than others.
Doesn’t hurt for long tho will feel sensitive while combing for a few days but that’s it

Damn that's overkill man, you don't need that much damage to cause regrowth.

You are not losing density to due scalp tension. There is no causal relationship between those 2 things.

Its likely that you have severe sensitivity to all androgens including testosterone, not jusy DHT. So the most effective thing is to add a topical anti androgen such as RU58841 to combat the testosterone and 30% of DHT that your finasteride couldn't take care of. This method will guarantee regrowth.

Using dutasteride is also an option, but it may only be a slight to moderate improvement at best.

I’ve seen plenty of people that agree that scalp tension is a huge reason for balding

Microneedling wont be enough on its own, there is no evidence that it can induce any significant difference on its own, but with minoxidil its shown to be a big help. If the scalp tension is causing restricted bloodflow the microneedling and minoxidil combo would help because the microneedling would cause more blood to flow to the scalp to heal around the hair follicles, and the minoxidil would dilate the vessels and allow blood to flow through the scalp easier

"I have seen plenty of people agree...", therefore it must be true.

not saying that it must be true but it also doesn't mean you're correct either

yes they do, why

I never said I was 100% correct, but its obvious you are wrong. Hence I used the word "likely".

Also, microneedling tightens the skin, that's why people choose it as an alternative to a face lift, so it would make hair loss worse by your theory.

You will literally get castrated, not even kidding. Don't swallow it. Buy RU powder from alibaba dude. You can get a years supply for around 100 bucks.

There are lots of YouTube videos on how to mix it. Its pretty simple yet effective.

My concern is how are you even sure you’re getting the compound at the purity that’s advertised? It’s basically a grey market.

Well all RU, fin pills and minoxidil is made in China. In fact >90% of the pharmaceuticals in the US are manufactured in China.

Needle+minoxidil is what you need.

do RU and Minox work similarly? What do you reccomend me to combine with fin

I also have another question about my hairloss. Finasteride at first improved my temples and I have maintained that to this day. But my hairloss now is in like a straight line down the middle of my head. Like at the suture and the highest point of my head where it meets all the way down the middle

It looks like a middle part

Fin + RU58841 + min + microneedling is the golden stack. You will see regrowth for sure.

Please do your own research in RU58841, plenty of YouTube videos and articles out there that can explain better than I do.
