No. It's more so getting at the fact that, due to the off-angle and distance, your photos are not particularly helpful in diagnosing failos; you should at least take a frontal and profile shot at close distance straight-on at eye level so that people could (at least attempt to) give informed feedback.

I think people are being too hasty to judge your ipd here, the photo isn't taken from straight on. Try to take another one. Maybe find some place in your home to put your camera and stand back rather than do a mirror selfie

You need a mix of softmaxes and hardmaxes. Read details below.

Hair/hairline : you can definitely improve your hair style. This picture doesn't allow me to assess your hairline and temporal peaks, although both seem to be somewhat receded, thus generating a rather large forehead. Said recession could simply be the design you were born with, or the consequence of androgenetic alopecia ; if so, hop on finasteride/dutasteride, minoxidil, and microneedling, to stop and potentially reverse the loss.

Skin : first, clear it up with isotretinoin, azelaid acid ; then smoothen it with tretinoin or tazarotene ; in case of persistent acne scars, use microneedling, chemical peelings, CO2 laser.

Eyebrows : try to grow the medial parts fuller and taller with minoxidil & microneedling. Reshape the lateral parts.

Eyelashes : grow them longer and denser with Latisse/bimatoprost.

Eyes : fat grafting to optimize the supra-orbital area. Canthopexy to tighten up the lower lid ; the quality of your picture doesn't allow me to make reliable suggestions, but I think the lower lid and/or the infra-orbital could benefit from some work (e.g. canthopexy + lower blepharoplasty, or canthopexy + fat graft).

Ears : they seem to flare quite a bit. An otoplasty could be a reasonable choice.

Nose : it looks pretty much ideal from the side, but the front-3/4 view seems to reveal a crooked dorsum which may be adressed with a rhinoplasty. It would be a minor job anyway.

Mouth/lips : mouth width is good. However, the upper lip curls inward too far from the corners, and the commissure looks downturned. A corner lip lift could address both issues.

Chin : looks good (proportions, angularity), although there may be some asymmetry going on. A proper front profile picture would clarify this point.

Cheekbones : good.

Posterior mandible/gonions : this part of your lower jaw lacks some breadth and volume. You can fix it with fillers (e.g. Juvederm Volux, Radiesse).


The morph at the top of this post roughly illustrates the aforementioned suggestions.
Will your poor IPD still nerf your facial harmony ? Yes, it will. But if everything else about your face is on point, you could still achieve above average appeal, or somewhere around the upper end of average. You'd be a slightly odd good-looking guy.
